Ensures maximum efficiency in the production of different types through the combination of parallel and alternating assembly as well as 4-stage assembly with the newly developed two-lane conveyor. Achieves high productivity, even if the production type varies per lane.

 

Variable production with dual-lane conveyor

Thanks to its innovative dual-track conveyor system, the Yamaha YRM20DL placement machine can process SMT circuit boards up to 810 × 330 mm. It enables parallel and alternating assembly processes—ideal for production lines with variable mixes and volumes. This keeps productivity consistently high even with different component sizes.

 

Automatic push-up pin replacement system Included in the automotive PKG

This positions the push-up pins automatically. In conjunction with the automatic program changeover, the amount of work involved in production changeovers is drastically reduced.

The nozzle is automatically replaced for efficient production. The nozzle holder can be replaced with a single touch, which simplifies set-up and maintenance.

 

High-precision assembly and consistent production of microcomponents

High mounting accuracy of ±15μm (Cpk≧1.0)

The machine is vibration-controlled with a very rigid base, etc., and the setting accuracy has been improved with Coord MACS, achieving a high assembly accuracy of ±15μm.

 

Low-impact Montage

The relative height of the mounting surface and component base is controlled by measuring the PCB height to control the mounting height, which together with a low static load nozzle minimizes the impact on micro components.

 

Stable mounting and installation

The Multiple Accuracy Compensation System “MACS” realizes a stable pick-up and assembly by detecting correction marks in the machine during production.

Non-Stop-Schalenanleger eATS30

High capacity tray feeder that can store up to 30 pallets. Ensures a non-stop supply of tray components and thus enables non-stop production. The product range also includes a 10-stage tray component feeder “cATS10R”, which offers excellent space saving and cost performance.

 

Maintenance warnings for the nozzle and feeder

Self-diagnostic and self-recovery functions keep nozzles and feeders continuously in a clean condition for continuous, high-quality production.

 

Automatic loading feeder for the YRM20DL

Simply cutting and inserting a belt reduces the load on the component supply. The use of two coils makes it possible to level the time for feeding the components, minimizing the risk of a line stop due to a component supply failure.

 

Image processing system to further improve the quality of component assembly

The side camera improves the quality of the assembly of small components. A coplanarity tester can also be installed as an option. All Image Tracer Plus (option) saves every image of the component recognition and thus supports the analysis of the assembly quality.
