Inline UV Mercury oven


The UV mercury oven for single-sided selective conformal coating of printed circuit boards (PCBs) maximizes productivity and yield, saves factory space and reduces PCB handling requirements.

The UV mercury oven is available for integration into the modular Protection Concept line and can be configured for the processing of printed circuit boards in a continuous process using the UV mercury curing method.

The heart of the Select Cure® UV-9 system lies in the arc lamp technology with adjustable UV intensity. It is combined with a unique ventilation design that dissipates the heat generated by the UV lamp. This combination keeps the temperature and slew rate at an acceptable level while maximizing production and lamp life as the lamps operate cooler.
A closed control loop ensures process reliability and compensates for possible lamp degradation by measuring and adjusting the power levels for UVA. Therefore, the desired profile is kept within +/- 5% of the programmed specifications. Other options and lamp types are available to ensure that the oven meets the customer’s specific requirements while maintaining high performance.
